The volunteers of Rebuilding Together-AFF are committed to helping our community homeowners who are unable to make or pay for the home repairs they need to stay in their homes. These repairs include improving safety, making the house accessible for the disabled, weather proofing to increase energy efficiency and generally making the home a healthy and comfortable place to live. Both skilled and novice volunteers do the work at no cost to the homeowner.
To be considered for home repair services you must meet the following requirements:
- Own and live in the home to be repaired located in Arlington, Fairfax County, Fairfax City or the City of Falls Church
- Intend to live in your home for at least two more years
- Meet the income guidelines on the application
- Complete an application and provide proof of ownership and total household gross income
Priority is given to seniors, persons with disabilities, families with children and veterans.
Rebuilding Together-AFF also assists non-profits that provide housing to vulnerable populations. If you are interested in applying as a non-profit, download the non-profit application here.
