Individual volunteers help keep Rebuilding Together running every day. No matter your skill level or schedule, we can find volunteer opportunities that work for you.

You can help rehabilitate a home or community center, working side by side with skilled volunteers. Or you can help us out with photography, social media or outreach in the community. Whatever way you volunteer, you will make a huge difference for neighbors in need.

You can volunteer once a year, once a month, or as often as you wish. You must be at least 14 years old to work on a project site, and teens who are 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please complete our Volunteer Information Form and sign our annual Volunteer Agreement and email it to us. We will email you every two weeks with new volunteer opportunities.

Rebuilding Together can help! We work with all kinds of groups, pairing volunteer teams with local families in need. This is hands-on, rewarding work that really improves your community.

What kind of groups volunteer?
Many different groups of all kinds, shapes and sizes volunteer with Rebuilding Together. From local businesses and corporations to faith-based groups and community organizations.

How can my group get involved?
There are so many ways to give back! Your group can volunteer on National Rebuilding Day in April, our annual signature event. You can also work any time throughout the year!

How do we connect homes with volunteer groups?
After we scope out exactly what repairs are needed on a home, we match it with a team based upon their skills, size and partnership level. Most groups identify a skilled team leader, who organizes the project and directs the work of the team. Some teams rely on Rebuilding Together-AFF to organize the home repair project. Skilled Trade Opportunities

Volunteers with strong remodeling skills are the backbone of our organization. They provide expertise for our more challenging repairs and lead teams of volunteers, coaching them throughout the process. We’re grateful for our skilled volunteers and professionals. Their advice, technical know-how and equipment make our work possible.
