DSC_0787National Rebuilding Day is the annual signature event of Rebuilding Together nationwide.  Locally, a thousand community members will volunteer their time and talents through sponsoring corporations, congregations and community groups to make repairs to 40 homes and non-profit facilities.  Each sponsoring group, made up of 15-50 volunteers, identifies team leaders who are skilled in home repairs and then trained by Rebuilding Together-AFF in project management.  Volunteer groups are matched to a project based on the size and skill of the group. National Rebuilding Day is reminiscent of the barn-raising tradition of America’s past.  The result of months of planning, evaluating, training and coordination provides a lasting impression and life-changing experience for both our volunteers and the families and individuals we serve.  To learn more about how you can participate in National Rebuilding Day, contact us at or (703) 528-1999.
