National Rebuilding Day

National Rebuilding Day is the signature event of Rebuilding Together, the leading nonprofit organization working to preserve affordable home ownership. Every year on the last Saturday of April, volunteers with 140 Rebuilding Together affiliates repair and restore homes and non-profit facilities. They also bring national attention to the plight of America’s low-income homeowners and the communities in which they live. This day of service brings volunteers, civic leaders and corporate sponsors together to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and their communities in almost every state across America.

Rebuilding Together Arlington/Fairfax/Falls Church has participated in every National Rebuilding Day since 1988. Each year a thousand volunteers and community sponsors unite to rehabilitate the homes and community facilities of our low-income neighbors.  In 2017, Rebuilding Together-AFF rehabbed 26 homes and non-profit residential facilities.
