VOLUNTEER – MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Rebuilding Together-AFF offers different ways for volunteers with different skills to help low-income homeowners in need of home repairs. You may volunteer as part of a group or as an individual.
Many volunteer for Rebuilding Together as part of a group, such as a business, civic- or faith based organization. Organizations that “sponsor” a home donate funds for materials, organize a team of volunteers and provide a House Captain with remodeling/handyman skills to manage the project.
Rebuilding Together-AFF matches sponsors with homes based on teams’ skills and size, typically 10-40 volunteers. Most groups work on National Rebuilding Day, the last weekend in April, but there are opportunities throughout the year, especially for smaller teams.
